That Aamir Khan takes great pains to get under the skin of the character is something that’s all over the media but this time something has gotten under his skin and become a ‘pain-in-the-nose-and-ear’ for the perfectionist. Yes we are talking about Aamir’s latest look for his Diwali 2018 release Thugs Of Hindostan which needs him to wear an ear ring in one ear, 3 in the other and even a nose pin. Apparently they are causing a lot of physical discomfort to the actor.
Aamir was recently heard cribbing that the nose pin and ear rings hurt him during his sleep. The actor falls on the side of the ornaments while asleep and the elaborate pieces of jewelry inevitably get pulled or pressed against the bed and the pillow that leads to him getting hurt and waking up with the pain.
Now there are actors who take great physical pain learning martial arts, gaining or losing weight or even starving for a film for the emaciated look. We have also heard of female stars suffering because of heavy embellished dresses they have to wear for some scenes in a film. Also actors getting hurt during the shoot of stunt scenes in a film are a common news (sometimes true). But this must be for the first time that an actor is experiencing physical pain because of some small pieces of jewelry.
Which brings us to the all important question – Why can’t he remove the troublesome ornaments before he goes to the bed? Or no one in styling department ever heard of removable and stick-on pieces?
